Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here but is risen... (Luke 24:5-6)

As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent.... For the Lord disciplines whom He loves and He scourges every son He receives... (Revelation 3:19; Hebrews 12:6)

ذوقوا وانظروا ما أطيب الرب طوبى للرجل المتوكل عليه.... Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him...
Do not trust in princes, in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. When his spirit departs, he returns to the ground and on that very same day, his plans come to nothing. But blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. For He remains faithful forever... (Psalm 146:3-6)
I delight to sit in His shade, and His fruit is sweet to my taste... (Song of Solomon 2:3)

In Christ Alone ...

He came to His own but His own received Him not... (John 1:11)
Let us give thanks to the gracious and merciful God, the Father of our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ, for He has protected, assisted, preserved and accepted us, had compassion upon us, supported us and brought us till this hour. Let us also ask Him the Almighty God, to keep us in peace this blessed day, and all the days of our life. O Lord, Master and Almighty God, the Father of our Lord, God and Saviour Jesus Christ, we thank You on every occasion, in every condition and for all things, for You have protected, assisted, preserved, accepted us, had compassion upon us, supported us and brought us till this hour. Therefore, we ask and appeal to Your goodness, O Lover-of-mankind that You grant us to conclude this blessed day and all the days of our life in peace and in fear of You. All envy, all temptation, all works of Satan, all intrigues of the wicked; rising up of enemies, seen and unseen; do cast away from us and from all your people, and from this holy place of yours. Grant us the endowments and benefactions, as You have given us the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, through the grace, mercy and love of mankind of Your only begotten Son, our Lord God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Glory, honour, dominion and worship are due to You together with Him and the Life- Giving and consubstantial Holy Spirit, now and forever... Amen.
"Remember those O Lord who have no one to remember them..." (Prayer of Absolution, Book of Agpeya)
Better is a dry crust of bread eaten in peace than a house full of feasting and strife within. Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a fattened ox and hatred therein.. .(Proverbs 17:1; Proverbs 15:17)

If one does not recognise what God has done for him, he will not recognise what mankind will do for him... ان لم يقدر الانسان ما صنعه معه الله فلم يقدر ما صنعه معه جاره
