Then Peter said to Jesus, "See that we have left everything and followed You..." But the Lord replied to him, “Truly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields, for the sake of My name and the gospel's, who will not receive a hundredfold in this present age and eternal life in the one to come..." If anyone teaches a different doctrine and does not agree with the sound words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the teaching that accords with godliness, he is conceited and understands nothing. Instead, he has an unhealthy interest in controversies and semantics, out of which come envy, strife, abusive talk, evil suspicions, and constant friction between men of depraved mind who are devoid of the truth. These men regard godliness as a means of gain... But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one you have heard from us, then let him be anathema! (1 Timothy 6:3-5; Galatians 1:8)

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrong doings. It does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be restrained; where there is knowledge, it will pass... (1 Corinthians 13:1-8)

لقد تاخرت كثير بحبك .. Too late I have loved You or beauty ever ancient and ever new, too late I have loved You. You were in me, but I was outside and it was there that I searched for You. In my unloveliness, I plunged into the lovely things which You created. You were with me, but I was not. Created things kept me from You; yet if they had not been in You they would have not been at all. You called, You shouted, and You broke through my deafness. You flashed, You shone, and You dispelled my blindness. You breathed Your fragrance on me; I drew in breath and now I pant for You. I have tasted and now I hunger and thirst for more. You touched my soul and now I burn for Your peace...” ( St. Augustine of Hippo)
