The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe...

 

The fool has said in his heart, there is no God... (Psalm 14:1)

 

Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you keep away from any brother who is an idle and does not walk in accord with the tradition that you received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to imitate us, because we were not undisciplined among you, nor did we eat anyone’s bread without paying for it, but with toil and labour we worked night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you... For even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “If anyone is unwilling to work, he shall not eat...” (2 Thessalonians 3:6-10)

 

He who is not with Me is against Me and he who does not gather with Me scatters... (Luke 11:23)

 

These men are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without shame, shepherding only themselves. They are waterless clouds, swept along by the wind; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted. They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackest darkness has been reserved forever... (Jude 1:12-13)

 

DISORIENTATION

..but whoever eats and drinks the body of Christ without discerning, will bring judgement upon himself .. (1 Corinthians 11:29)

 

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful... (John 14:27)

 

Do not give what is holy to the dogs and do not throw your pearls before swine.. (Matthew 7:5-6)

 

Then the disciples came to Jesus and said, "Why couldn't we cast it out?" Jesus replied, "This kind cannot come out except through prayer and fasting..."

 

Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation and every house divided against itself will not stand... (Mark 3:24)

 

Let nothing disturb you; Let nothing dismay you; All things pass away; God never changes. He who has God lacks nothing: God alone suffices.. (St. Therese of Avila)

 

 

For what one plants, that he will harvest... (Galatians 6:7)

 

 

Then the devil led Him up to a high place and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world. "All this I will give to You if You fall down and worship me..." But Jesus said to him, "Away with you satan, for it is written, "'You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only you shall serve.." ( Luke 4:5-6)

..you will know them by their fruits... (Matthew 7:16)

 

The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So is everyone born of the Spirit.. (John 3:8)

 

For many will say to me on that day, "'Lord Lord, did we not prophesy in your name; in your name cast out demons and in your name we performed many miracles?'" Then I will declare to them, "'I NEVER KNEW YOU. Depart from Me you who practice lawlessness...'"

 

But may I never boast except in the cross of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ .. (Galatians 6:14) - وَأَمَّا مِنْ جِهَتِي، فَحَاشَا لِي أَنْ أَفْتَخِرَ إِلاَّ بِصَلِيبِ رَبِّنَا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحِ، الَّذِي بِهِ قَدْ صُلِبَ الْعَالَمُ لِي وَأَنَا لِلْعَالَمِ

Love covers a multitude of faults... (1 Peter 4:8)

 

 

But whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me and I in him... (John 6:56)

 

I was glad when they said to me, let us go into the house of the Lord.. Our feet shall stand within your gates O Jerusalem.. Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together... May they prosper who love thee.. For the sake of my brothers and my friends, I will now say, “May peace be within you...” For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I will seek your good... Hallelujah (Psalm 122)

 

What is more, I consider all things as loss for the surpassing knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have endured the loss of all things and count them nothing but rubbish that I may gain Christ... (Philippians 3:8-9)

 

.. but if you are insulted for the name of Christ, blessed are you for the spirit of glory and of God rests upon you... (1 Peter 4:14)

 

..and three things will remain: Faith, Hope and Love, but the greatest of these is Love... (1 Corinthians 13:13)

 

.. all things to all people.. (1 Corinthians 9:22)

 

Rebuke a wise man and he will thank you. Rebuke a scoffer and he will despise you...

 

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also .. (Matthew 6:21)

 

O LORD, I love the house where You dwell, the place where Your glory manifests... (Psalm 26:8)

 

.. and on this rock I will build My church and the gates of hades shall not prevail against it... (Matthew 16:18)

The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding... (Proverbs 9:10)
