Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood remains in Me, and I in him... As the branch is not able to bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither you, unless you abide in Me... Whoever has the Son has life and whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life in him... (John 6:56; John 15:4; 1 John 5:12)

"If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies. Succeed anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway. What you spend years building, someone will try to destroy overnight. Build anyway... For you see in the final analysis, it is between you and God, it was never between you and them anyway..."

He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. So when the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew. The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ The servants said to him, ‘Do you want us to go and and pull them out?’ But he said, ‘No, lest while you gather up the weeds you also uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn..’” (Matthew 13:24-30)

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD.” Blessed are those whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. Come, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD who serve by night in the house of the LORD!

O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy mountain? He who walks uprightly, works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. He who does not backbite with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honours those who fear the LORD; he who swears to his own hurt and does not change; who lends without interest and refuses a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved... (Psalm 15:1-5)
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path... You are near, O LORD, and all your commands are true... Your word is very pure; therefore Your servant has loved it... Heaven and earth will pass away, but Your words will remain forever... (Psalm 119:105; Psalm 119:151; Psalm 119:140; Luke 21:33)

هُوَذَا كَمَا أَنَّ عُيُونَ الْعَبِيدِ نَحْوَ أَيْدِي سَادَتِهِمْ، كَمَا أَنَّ عَيْنَيِ الْجَارِيَةِ نَحْوَ يَدِ سَيِّدَتِهَا، هكَذَا عُيُونُنَا نَحْوَ الرَّبِّ إِلهِنَا حَتَّى يَتَرَأَّف عَلَيْنَا --- As the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maidservant look to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes are on the LORD our God until He shows us mercy....
"O pure and immaculate, wholly unspotted, O Mary, Mother of God, Queen of the universe, you are above all the saints, the hope of the elect and the joy of all the blessed. It is you who have reconciled us with God. You are the only refuge of sinners and the safe harbour of those who are shipwrecked. You are the consolation of the world, the ransom of captives, the health of the weak, the joy of the afflicted, and the salvation of all. We have recourse to you, and we beseech you to have pity on us..." Amen. (Tribute from St. Ephrem the Syrian to the Mother of Light)
I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name. Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie—indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth... (Revelation 3:8-10)
