In the multitude of words, sin is not lacking, but he who restrains his lips is wise... God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few... So, let your "yes" be a yes and your "no" be a no - for anything more than these is from the evil one... (Proverbs 10:19; Ecclesiastes 5:2; Matthew 5:37)

Then a Samaritan woman came to draw water and Jesus said to her, “Will you give me a drink?” But the Samaritan woman said to Him, “You are a Jew and I am a Samaritan. How can you ask me for a drink?” (For Jews have no healings with Samaritans). But Jesus said to her, “If you knew the gift of God and who it is who says to you 'give me a drink' you would have asked him for a drink and he would have given you living water...'” “Sir,” the woman said, “you have nothing to draw with and the well is deep. Where then can you get this living water from? Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well and drank from it himself, as did also his sons and his cattle?” Jesus answered and said to her, “Everyone who drinks from this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks from the water I give him shall never thirst. For the water that I give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life.” The woman said to him, “Sir, give me this water so that I will not thirst again.." Then he said to her, “Go, call your husband and come here...” But then she said to him, "I have no husband". Jesus said to her, “You have correctly said I have no husband. For you have had five husbands and the one whom you now have is not your husband. This you have said truely!" “Sir, I perceive that you a prophet" the woman said. "Our forefathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.” “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe Me, a time is coming and now is when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. For you worship what you do not know and we worship what we do know. God is spirit, and those who worship him must do so in Spirit and in truth..” The woman said, “I know that Messiah (who is called Christ) is returning. When he does, he will tell us all things.. ” Then Jesus said to her, “I, who speak to you am He...” (John 4:7-26)

The man who commits adultery lacks understanding. He who does so destroys his own soul. Wounds and dishonour he will get and his shame will not be wiped away... (Proverbs 6:32-33)
