Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever... (Hebrews 13:8)

 

When you are invited to a wedding banquet, do not sit in the place of honour, in case someone more distinguished than you be invited. Then the host who invited you both will come and tell you, ‘Sir, give this man your seat.’ Then in shame, you begin to take the lowest place... For whoever desires to be first among you, let him be last and whoever wishes to be great among you, let him be a servant for all... (Luke 14:8-9; Mark 9:35; Matthew 23:11)

 

...if they do these things while the tree is green, what do you suppose they will do when it is dry.. (Luke 23:31)

 

Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me... (Matthew 10:37-38)

 

Remain in Me, as I remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me. I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing... (John 15:4-6)

 

Truly I say to you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you would say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will obey you... (Matthew 17:20)

 

Then John sent his disciples to ask Jesus, "Are you the One or shall we look for another?" But Jesus replied “Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is given to the poor. But blessed is he who does not doubt Me... (Matthew 11:2-6)

 

Where shall I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; even there Your hand will guide me; Your right hand shall hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,” even the night shall be light about me; even the darkness is not dark to You, but the night shines like the day, for darkness is as light to You. For You formed my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works and that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in secret, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed being; all my days were written in Your book and ordained for me before one of them came to be. How precious to me are Your thoughts, O God, how vast is their sum! If I were to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand; and when I awake, I am still with You... (Psalm 139:7-18)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light... (1 Peter 2:9)

إلهي ما أجملك

أراك إلهي أراك

اَلْحَقَّ الْحَقَّ أَقُولُ لَكُمْ: إِنَّ مَنْ يَسْمَعُ كَلاَمِي وَيُؤْمِنُ بِالَّذِي أَرْسَلَنِي فَلَهُ حَيَاةٌ أَبَدِيَّةٌ، وَلاَ يَأْتِي إِلَى دَيْنُونَةٍ، بَلْ قَدِ انْتَقَلَ مِنَ الْمَوْتِ إِلَى الْحَيَاةِ

 

تعلموا مني، لأني وديع - داود لمعى

You are clean because of the word I have spoken to you... If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you also... you will be delivered to councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues... A time will come when whoever will kill you will think that he is offering a service to God... Remember the words I have spoken to you... A servant is not greater than his Master... In this world, you will have tribulations but remember that I have overcome the world... Blessed is the man who endures til the very end... "Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven shall enter..." (Matthew 7:21)

Bless the Lord O my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name... I will sing to the Lord, for He is highly exalted... Who among the gods is like You, Lord? Who is like You— majestic in holiness, awesome in glory, working wonders?

 

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who revere Him. For He knows our frame; He is mindful that we are dust. As for man, his days are like grass—he blooms like a flower of the field; when the wind passes over, it vanishes, and its place remembers it no more. But from everlasting to everlasting the loving devotion of the LORD extends to those who fear Him, and His righteousness to their children’s children to those who keep His covenant and remember to obey His precepts...
