I am the way the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through Me... (John 14:6)

 

For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing... (1 Corinthians 1:18)

He who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, shall be compared to a wise man, who built his house on the rock. The rain fell, the floods came, the winds blew and slammed against that house; yet it did not fall, for it had been founded upon the rock. But he who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them shall be compared to a foolish man who built his house on the sand. The rain fell, the floods came, the winds blew and slammed against that house; it fell— and great was its fall...” (Matthew 7:24-27)

 

Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me... I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance... (Matthew 10:37-38; Luke 5:32)

 

 

My father and my mother may forsake me, but the LORD will take hold of me... (Psalm 27:10)
