.. the Author and Perfecter of our faith... the Alpha and the Omega... the Beginning and the End... Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever... (Hebrews 12:2; Revelation 22:13; Hebrews 13:8)

...Oh how beautiful it is when brethren dwell together in unity... (Psalm 133:1)

For if they do these things while the tree is green, what will they do when it is dry?.. A servant is not greater than his Master... If the world hates you, remember that it hated Me first... (Luke 23:31; John 13:16; John 15:18)

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to those who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and bring to nothing the understanding of those who think they are something...” (1 Corinthians 1:18-19)

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? (1 John 4:20)

Do not judge, or you will be judged. For with the judgment that you judge, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured against you... (Matthew 7:1-2)

He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him... He is despised and rejected by men; a Man of sorrows and familiar with sufferings: and we hid our faces from Him; He was despised, and we esteemed Him not... (Isaiah 53:2-3)

Do not fear those who kill the body, but afterwards can do no more. But fear Him who has the authority to destroy both soul and body in never quenching fire... Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits... Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven shall enter... (Luke 12:4-5; Matthew 7:15-16; Matthew 7:21)

Heaven and earth will pass, but My words will never pass... For I tell you truly, until heaven and earth pass away, not a single jot, not a stroke of a pen, will disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished... (Matthew 24:35; Matthew 5:18)

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power... and from such people turn away! (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

"Too late I have loved You, O Beauty ever ancient, ever new, too late I have loved You..." (Augustine of Hippo)

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe... (Proverbs 18:10)

This is why I speak to them in parables: 'Though seeing, they do not see and though hearing, they do not hear...' (Matthew 13:13)

Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? It is he who walks uprightly, who works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart. It is he who does not backbite with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. In whose eyes a vile person is despised, but he honours those who fear the Lord; he who swears to his own hurt and does not change; he who does not put out his money at usury, nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved... (Psalm 15)

A thousand may fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand but it shall not come near you... The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory belongs to the LORD... (Psalm 91:7; Proverbs 21:31)

Taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man who trusts in Him... (Psalm 34:8)

Psalm 91: He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name. He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him. With long life I will satisfy him, and show him My salvation...”
