For what shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord... As it is written: “For Your sake we are killed all day long; we are counted as sheep to be slaughtered..." But I consider my life of no value to me... What is more, I consider everything as loss for the surpassing knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have endured the loss of all things and I count them as nothing but rubbish, that I may gain Christ... (Romans 8:35; Romans 8:38-39; Romans 8:36; Acts 20:24; Philippians 3:8)
"When you come to appear before Me, who has asked this of you, this trampling of My courts? Stop bringing meaningless offerings! Your incense is detestable to Me. New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations— I cannot bear your worthless assemblies. Your New Moon feasts and your appointed festivals I hate with all My being. They have become a burden to Me; I am weary of bearing them. When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide My eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood..." (Isaiah 1:12-15)

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the Law of the LORD, and in His Law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper... (Psalm 1:1-3)
But when he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's servants have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will arise up and go to my father, and say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son but make me like one of your hired servants..." (Luke 15:17-19)
Then the Kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to ten bridesmaids who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom. Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. At midnight, there was a cry: 'Behold, the bridegroom! Go forth to meet Him!' Then all those bridesmaids arose and trimmed their lamps. Then the foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ “Afterward the others also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But He answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is returning...
