Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever... Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away... (Hebrews 13:8; 1 Corinthians 13:8)

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints... (Psalm 116:15)

"Bring me the head of John the Baptist..." - On Herod’s birthday, her opportunity arose. Herod held a banquet for his nobles and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee. When the daughter of Herodias came and danced, she pleased Herod and his guests, and the king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you wish, and I will give it to you.” And he swore to her, “Whatever you ask of me, I will give you, up to half my kingdom!” Then she went out and asked her mother, “What should I request?” And her mother answered, “The head of John the Baptist.” At once the girl hurried back to the king with her request: “I want you to give me the head of John the Baptist on a platter..” The king was consumed with sorrow (knowing that John the Baptist was a prophet of God), but because of his oaths and his guests, he did not want to refuse her. So without delay, the king commanded that John’s head be brought in. He sent an executioner, who went and beheaded him in the prison. The man brought John’s head on a platter and presented it to the girl, who gave it to her mother... (Mark 6:21-28)

ترنيمة لا لا تتركني

I am not The One. But there is One coming after me Whose sandals' straps I am unworthy to untie... He must increase and I must decrease... (John 1:27; John 3:30)

Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he... (Matthew 11:11)
