Do not believe every spirit, but test them to see if they are from God... When an unclean spirit leaves a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and it finds none. Then it says to itself, ‘I will return to the house from which I came..." but when it returns, it finds that house empty, swept, and put into order. Then it goes and brings with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they enter and dwell in that house such that the last state of that man is worse than his beginning...
