... all things to all people .. (1 corinthians 9:22)

THE EPISTLE OF JUDE - Jude, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ: Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. But I want to remind you, though you once knew this, that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to impurities and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these dreamers defile the flesh, reject authority, and speak evil of dignitaries. Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” But these speak evil of whatever they do not know; and whatever they know naturally, like brute beasts, in these things they corrupt themselves. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. To God our Saviour, who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever. Amen.

Do not believe every spirit but test them to see if they are from God... Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruits.. and so you will know them by their fruits...

What the wicked fears will come upon him but the desire of the righteous shall be granted... (Proverbs 10:24)

..and if judgement begins with the household of God, where would it end with the ungodly?

When one accepts anything godly he rejoices in his heart but when he accepts anything wicked he becomes tormented... (St. Seraphim of Sarov)

Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD and in His law he mediates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water that brings forth its fruit in season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper... (Psalm 1:1-2)

Charm is deceptive and beauty will fade but the woman who fears the Lord she shall be praised.. (Proverbs 31:30)

The love of money is the root of all evil and some by craving for it have turned away from the faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows... No one can serve two masters. For either he would hate the one and love the other or he be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon... (1 Timothy 6:10; Matthew 6:24)

The soul of the lazy man craves and has nothing but the soul of the diligent shall prosper.. Go to the ant you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise... Which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, prepares her food in summer and gathers her provision in the harvest... A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the arms to rest, and poverty will come upon you like a robber, and want like an armed man..

Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven shall enter.. (Matthew 7:21)

Then a woman with a haemorrhaging disorder for twelve years came behind Him and touched the end of His garment. For she said within herself, “If only I touch His cloak, I will be healed." Then Jesus turned to her and said, "Daughter, be of good courage, your faith has made your well..."

If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not believe even if one rises from the dead... (Luke 16:31)

For you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and you do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked. I counsel you therefore to buy from Me gold refined in fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes, that you may see... (Revelation 3:17-18)

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths... (Proverbs 3:5-6)

He remains faithful for He cannot deny Himself... (2 Timothy 2:13)

For you shut the kingdom of heaven into men's faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor do you let those who are trying to... (Matthew 23:13)

For I have decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him being crucified... (1 Corinthians 2:2)

Do not answer a fool according to his folly or you will be likened to him yourself... (Proverbs 26:4)

..and if the blind leads the blind will they not both fall into the ditch.. (Matthew 15:14)

Blind Pharisees, first cleanse the inside of the cup, that the outside of may be clean also... Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but on the inside are full of dead men’s bones and everything unclean... (Matthew 23:26-27)

For many are called but few are chosen.... The last will be first and the first will be last... (Matthew 22:14; Matthew 20:16)

To Him you listen... (John 2:5)
